Smooth landing

These little, old Cessna planes are the only way to get to and from the small cabins on the lakes up in Canada where Caesars Outfitters provides fishing and hunting trips. We fish for northern pike and walleye. I've gone on these week-long excursions three times now and each year I appreciate the quiet time away from civilization more and more. Last August it was basically six of us alone on a lake for a week miles and miles away from anyone/thing. Really a fantastic trip. Not cheap, of course.
This is one of the best pictures I shot on the entire trip, I think. I love the way the water looks. He was coming to pick us up at the end of our week and the propeller was off; he was gliding in to dock this baby. We are always sad to leave.
More Canada pictures to come soon.
